KIND LED Grow Lights Buying Guide

If you’re growing plants indoors, you need reliable, durable and high-quality grow lights. KIND LED is an industry leader, offering full spectrum LED grow lights developed with the help of professional soil and hydroponic growers.

KIND lights are considered the best indoor grow lights on the market today.

Why Choose KIND LED Lights?

Indoor grow lights are not a new concept, and there are many manufacturers out there.

Why choose KIND over other brands?

All KIND LEDs consist of:

  • High-powered 5- and/or 3-watt LEDs
  • 12 band spectrum
  • Infrared and UV diodes for flowering and vegetative states
  • Secondary optical lens to magnify PAR and improve canopy penetration by 200%
  • Quiet fans, large heat sinks and precision drivers

KIND lights have a complete 12-band spectrum, while other companies use just 2-3 primary colors needed for plant growth and photosynthesis. This leads to leggy plants and fragile flowers.

KIND is the only company to offer 3-watt LED lights with a 12-bandwidth targeted complete spectrum LED panel.

Kind LED K5 Series

LED grow lights offer many advantages over traditional HPS grow lights:

  • They use half the electricity of HPS lights
  • They produce a higher yield per watt
  • Studies show higher oil production and denser fruits and flowers with LEDs
  • They are cooler, so there’s no need for air cooling

What’s the Big Deal about Full Spectrum?

The primary thing that sets KIND apart from the competition is the fact that their lights are full spectrum. What exactly does that mean?

Technically, full spectrum means that the lights cover all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Plants benefit most from the wavelengths that fall between 400 and 700 nanometers. This is known as PAR, or Photosynthetically Active Radiation. PAR supports photosynthesis, but not all the light in this spectrum is helpful to plants in the same amounts.

KIND focuses on targeted full spectrum lights, which means that their lights only produce the wavelengths of lights that benefit plant growth:

  • Red: Ideal for the flowering stage
  • Blue: Ideal for the vegetative stage

Yellow and green lights are limited because they’re not as useful to plants. This saves on energy costs and ensures that plants get what they need to grow and thrive. They also produce less heat, which reduces the need for cooling measures (more energy savings).

Are KIND LED Lights Worth the Money?

There’s no question that KIND LED lights are a step above the rest. KIND LED reviews are overwhelmingly positive, but are they worth the money?

KIND lights are more expensive than the competition. If you’re just getting your setup started or you want to revamp your current one, you may be wondering whether you should invest so much in your lights.

But there’s a reason why these grow lights come with a higher price tag. For starters, they offer a customizable set-up and the ability to set your own timers. With so much control over the lights and spectrums, these lights provide one of the best indoor growing opportunities with the ability to save money on your energy costs, too.

Whether KIND lights are worth the money really depends on your goals. If you’re growing for commercial purposes, then it’s absolutely worth the cost. But even serious hobbyists will find that KIND is worth every penny.
