
Little Bug Baby Food
Melissa's first son Luke, now 3 and known as 'little bug' to his family, inspired his mom and grandma to start Little Bug in 2005. Ingredients are 100% local, seasonal, and organic, sourced from small farms and cooked, flash-frozen, and packaged within days of harvest. "This is how we eat and what we want for our littlest ones, too," says Melissa. Their line consists of 13 total flavors: five in both summer and fall, and three in spring, and include items like pumpkin from La Tercera farm, Kaki Farm persimmons, and Pomo Tierra Farm pears. "This short distance from farm to spoon makes Little Bug the tastiest, most nutritious food for babies around," says Melissa.
