Delicate and buttery, Monterey Jack is semi-soft and open textured with a slightly tart flavor. Aged or dry it resembles cheddar, and when young it more resembles Muenster. It comes in varieties such as Pepper Jack where jalapeno peppers are added during production. Reduced Fat Monterey Jack Cheese contains 37% less fat than our regular Jack.
